Being a college student comes with many obligations, all of which revolve around getting good grades. One of the most anxiety provoking classes that a student can take is math. Although, if you hold yourself to some strict guidelines and plan for success, by having good time management skills, always taking notes, and keeping your self confidence up when your confused. These will make mastering math much easier and you will give you a higher success rate. At times College can seem like a juggling act; between going to classes, studying for tests and doing homework. All it really comes down to is being effective at time management. It is difficult to figure out your heiracry of commitments and alotting the appropriate amount of time to each task. There are many steps one can take in order to become good at time man agement. First, you should make a plan. Right when you get your sylabus for class, you should write down all of your assignments, quizes, papers and exams into your planner. This way you can visually see what you need to get done, and within each week. Second, you need to attend each class. Believe it or not you are wasting time by not going to class. Film Review Blind Devotion Essay Jubilee Project in partnership with Pastor Francis Chan recently made an extremely touching short film titled â€Å"Blind Devotion, a masterpiece about unconditional love. The story goes when a devoted wife and her loving husband faced the biggest dilemma in their lives, which will put their commitment as a couple to an ultimate test. The double-pun in devotion in this short film is amazing. Just as she thought she was persistently staying devoted to her husband by choosing to continue to fulfill her roles as his wife after she became blind, unbeknownst to her, it is he and his devotion to her that first makes it easy, and possible at all maybe, for her to keep on loving. It is true that love and marriage means sacrifice, when we love someone we become selfless, devoted and we learn to accept the one we love wholeheartedly. Marriage may go in waves of ups and downs. With this, trials of love and commitment between partners are being tested, but how far would one go for the one they love? This short film had great aspects to the video which gave it a greater meaning with a deeper understanding. The scenario is very unpredictable. Little will the viewer know what will happen next. This short film has great suspense throughout the video by giving blackout passes in between some scenes. Creating a deep connection between who ever watches the film to her story due to her being blind. It also gave flowing transitions from when she was happy with her life to her becoming blind, to then her being watched over by her husband. Loved the color grading of this sort. The understated tones really added an antique texture to it and the intimate closeups and wide shots were blended well; the film was diverse and visually interesting. The voice over and dialogues are really good because its easy to connect with the characters. It has a great storyline. Not only did the shots and colors make this film great, the track used in this short film was powerful too. From the soft melodies with joy when love was present to the soft dark piano keys that brought the mood down to a deeper understanding of their struggles. Definitely a great short film! It’s like watching a giant leap in terms of filmmaking maturity for Jubilee Project. These groups of filmmakers and producers are becoming better by each video they create. Comparing it to their other videos one can delve into the message of this film. This heart melting story shows how love can make people so devoted to someone special. It’ll open hearts to the fact that there’s nothing love can’t overcome. The message was, â€Å"When you make the sacrifice in marriage, you’re sacrificing not to each other but to unity in a relationship. † It has a message so clear and precise that it cuts deep in peoples heart and awakens their senses in so many ways. Sacrifice may sound awful, but it is one of the purest ways to show love to someone. Saying â€Å"I love you† is good, and necessary; but, giving of yourself, time after time, is proof that you really mean what you say.?

The game of baseball is rich in history and full of legends, yet is still accessible to almost anyone on this planet. For me, baseball is more than a game; it’s a lifestyle. I began playing T-ball at the raw age of six years old and advanced to a new level of play every year. My passion for baseball flowed through my body more and more as I advanced to new levels of play. However, being on the field was not the only place that cemented my love for America’s pastime. In fact, the front of my TV actually influenced me a lot. I still get chills just thinking about that special day. It’s magical moments like that, that make baseball so extraordinary. Baseball is often referred to as â€Å"America’s Pastime†. I really like that saying because baseball is engrained in America’s history. I think its funny that baseball almost has a history as vast as the United States. The idea of playing catch in the backyard or going out to the ballpark with your family is etched into my idea of America†. As a kid that loves the idea of America, it seems fitting that baseball is part of my life. The history is another aspect that keeps me playing. Abner Doubleday first adapted baseball from the British game, â€Å"Rounders†. From then on, baseball has evolved into the modern game that I have grown to love. When I visited the Baseball Hall of Fame, I realized how important the history was. Every time I step on a baseball field, I think about the other people that have stepped on a similar field in the past. I think of heroes like Jackie Robinson and Ty Cobb, but I also think of soldiers in World War II that continued to play overseas. I feel honored just to think that I am playing the same game that they played. Luckily, I am privileged enough to still be playing baseball. I cannot imagine myself not playing baseball and it makes me nauseous just thinking about it. Like I said, baseball is part of my lifestyle. Even shopping for baseball pants or cleats gets me excited. During my lifetime, I guarantee that I will flip on the TV every morning and watch the highlights of every game, just like I did as a kid.
